Queer Archive

I'm working on a project to develop a queer archive. Particularly interested in objects and ephemera that embody and relate moments of a queer existence. I'm thinking actual objects as well as things like zines, pamphlets, stickers, etc. I'm in the preliminary research phase of the project and trying to see what I can collect before solidifying the idea too much. The goal is to eventually document the collection in an exhibition and/or publication.

I will gladly reciprocate your gesture with something mailed in return. Please indicate how you would like to be credited for your contribution and include any story that might come to mind when thinking of your submission.

I'm using my home mailing address for the project and am likely to move around over the next couple months. To this end, please send me an email to get my postal address. This will also give me an easy way to stay in contact as the project evolves.

Thanks,

archive.queer@gmail.com
