I am doing a cyber-tabloid/newspaper piece.

I would like to know your goals and aspirations for the message board you just started.

c ///

I started my first messageboard as free platform for all mailartists that had computers and internetcontacts.
Now it is the third one with the same target. "Internet" x-ploded x-panded in this time, so providers and concerns
died and this is the first trial to run a free platform for mailartists an an own payed domain without commercial
restrictions like banners , a service that works better , an adress that will not become deleted tomorrow... and
so on.

So last board(s) got a million hits, hundredthousands postings - I fast run out of time to set up an archive about
it manually - I tried to copy and paste and writing html sites new, linking it,
just a service!!!

some of the old are still at our (Klaus Rupp Hans Braumueller) server at

<a href="[www.crosses.net];

this are the steps further to make all this easyer for all users and givers.

Like Mailart works, it will grow like an organism we will see how or in what way.

It is just - giving our wisdom about conta+s and x-change setting up a platform for
in Internet too.

X-cuse me please if - for - I saw your person and postings, even pictures like trolling
around in the new board / there are more boards here/ while I?ve got massive technically
problems too , losing my temper, setting the board-modus to "moderated" and compressed
the big files directly at the server and........

So ,
this is my first answer to your interview with Merlin, this was your first direct clear question.

The story about Mailart mine, is more, I started in 1991, hey - i started it without any
contacts - 1985- sending art by mail to adresses I found in phone books!!! Making an
add-pass-send-back- letter with linocuts and handpaintings.......never got any answer
before I met some mailartadresses worldwide.

and much more.......

So it seems to be a part of my heart, without it I would not be alive today I am shure.

- in 1993 I made my first big invitation - Animals in Mailart - ( this is still my theme),
catching the bosses of my Job at Zoological Museum and scientic Institution,
making a big show for the anniversary of the museum (150 years)
about 600 artworks...

- got my free space to
x-press all this mailart officially there! worked one year for show at day, for documentation
and one of the first onlinedocumentations! at night -

and sending out this documentation - ever signed with a little falcon I recognized -
at day for job, at night for art - changing my habit like merlin - so my official adress changed
into "Merlin" it was a joke this time but, also real, it it became my real postal name,
performances and more.

I hope my work for the worldwide so called "round table" Merlin - the ancient one -
founded will become real.

attachment- part of first documentation

- it is better to post a link-

<img src="[www.talknet.de];

I think I answered to your first concrete question in my best way - my english / american
is not very well! you saw, but - I want to step over boarders of languges too , art is my
language too!

Merlin

post scriptum,

I would you like to use your senders adress called craigpurcell
so It is sometimes not easy to sort my mail - if not....

thank you.</HTML>

<HTML>I'm seeking art and seeking artists......
I am starving for something, anything. Sometimes I think I'm dead, because I walk by the blank canvas, over and over...and nothing ever changes. Art saves...I need saving. I'm not insane, just very very hungry.</HTML>
