I think you have not the tools to compress them
without damaging quality - what picture-prorgams
you are using - to create pictures and to compress
pictures??? you need a good software to compress
jpegs step by step I think- what you are working with
maybe I can give you some better tools (legally)?

new boards at new providers every year while they got eaten
by bigger predators like .... ... . no names here - you know.

it?s grown between different artists learning from eachothers,
connecting eachothers, and it will grow and alter in a naturally
way like the organism mailart.

You for instance I would call an important kind of cell in the
mailartorganism like one cell off the system of immunity -
immunesystem (sorry my english is bad) - this cells that are
killing viruses and so on...

however, a lot to do tonight just here..... thank you for your

I use photoshop & painter. Speed is fine I have DSL so download time is not an issue. Tree strcuture is ok - however older messages are buried - I am not sure one what can do much about that unless you get a creative web page designer to do something.

I am not sure where this board will evolve - I would like to see more actual visual (auditory & movies too) direct interaction in the work - but I guess the paradigm shift is from a message board about mail art to a board that is mail art or its next generation

Yoy are the great postmaster and envelope - we have no need for stamps, galleries & museums.

while........ ok -- it works -

some files are gone to graveyard - mine too -
your files yu have not to care about , creating
new ones every day.

we are trusting in eachothers,

while accepting - even after struggling with ourthelves.
