This project is hosted by www.zyarts.com/zybooks, a London based website featuring artists? books, mail art and internet projects.

The purpose of this project is to share a small but important, everyday part of our world with each other by taking a walk from our home into our neighbourhood/environment/landscape/cityscape... and documenting it in some way: either by writing down a description, or by taking photographs, or drawing and/or painting the journey .

Your journey can be on foot or by transport of some kind. It can be at night or in the day and take place over time or just one journey. (One participant documented a 'journey' inside her house).

In your journeyweb 'document' please describe your journey fully and how you feel/think about what you see, hear... However, please feel free to interpret this project in any way you like. There are no fixed rules or guidelines.

the sights and sounds
the history
the local shopkeepers
neighbours
the people you meet on your journey
their stories...
