<HTML>Access Artist Run Centre is seeking submissions for an exhibition of mail art. We aim to initiate a long-distance dialogue between artists about tourism (i.e. the traveler in con/quest). We are seeking submissions on an international scale that are in postcard format (4x6 inches) and that relate to the form of the postcard, and in particular, the concept of tourism (a document of sites, experiences, fantasies, etc. ? real or imaginary).

con/quest is inspired by the gallery?s location in a tourist district in Vancouver and directed by our efforts to promote the dissemination or contemporary ideas within the visual arts.

A short-term exhibition of all submitted works will be held at Access Gallery in June 2002.

A list of participants will be sent out to all who submit.

Media: Open (excluding e-mail)
Size: 4x6 (postcard format)
Deadline: May 15, 2002
