Call for Floppies (A Mail Art Call)
DMF2002 beckons you to send in your old discarded floppy disks transformed into artworks that explore the theme "Dead on Arrival." 3.5" floppies preferred but vintage 5.25"s are also welcome. Students of digital media from the University of the Philippines will re-purpose your floppies working around the themes: "The Embalmed" and "The Resurrection." You will receive a postcard of the repurposed work. Floppies will also be documented in the DMF website. [digitalmedia.upd.edu.ph]
