Emergency Communication
February 17, 2003 03:01AM
<HTML>The new US Department of Homeland Security advises us:
Make a kit,
Make a plan,
Be prepared.

Supposedly this will increase chances of survival in the dark days of violence and terrorism. In particular, we are advised to make back-up plans for communicating with loved ones in the (god-forbid) event of an upcoming emergency. But what will we do if ground lines, cell towers, and internet should all go down at once?

Please share your plans for emergency communication, or the contents of your survival kit. I promise not to report you to authorities.

No rejections, no returns, no unauthorized sales.
Documentation to all, local exhibition possible.

Deadline: December 31, 2003

<HTML>Thanks, RAIN RIEN, for your response and input. Mass waving strikes me as an excellent proposition. I do hope you check back here, however, because I see no way to download the image you mention. Can you possibly send it by post or direct me to a website??

More thanks and best wishes,
