Call for Mail Art: Domestic / Global Social Movements, Agendas, & Propaganda Mail Art Project

Mail art is an artistic movement in which artists send small scale works via the mail, i.e. snail mail, postal, or the postal service. Mail art commonly does not have any intrinsic value, is not sold, goes one way, is not returned, and participants receive documentation on the exhibit.

Theme: Social Movements, Agendas, & Propaganda Mail Art Project

Technique / Media: drawings, paintings, prints, digital images, photographs, collage, etc.

Size / Format: Postcards only (without an envelope)

Entry limited to one per participant.

An exhibition of the mail art received will be displayed at the Grayson College Arts & Communication Center, Denison, Texas, 75020,
November 7, 2016 to January 20, 2017.
