Theme: You Are Beautiful
Our minds are flooded with countless advertisements everyday, and the images and messages they impose are impossible to avoid. The notion to “look good” is overwhelming, and has become a way of life - purchasing products to improve our levels of physical attractiveness and status in society, leading to how we feel about ourselves. Unfortunately this has become an obsession within society. Becoming at least conscious of this is a step towards a change for the better.

Setting aside the constructed ideas of what “looks good” in today’s society, what is your idea of real beauty? Express your ideas on this topic and send it to me via mail. Draw it, paint it, collage, design & print it - in postcard form. Be realistic, be abstract. This is not just for artists, it is for anyone, whatever your level of creativity.
