Línea que limita la superficie terrestre que abarca la vista del observador, y en la que parece que se une el cielo con la tierra. Espacio circular de la superficie del globo, que está encerrado en dicha línea. Unión aparente o visible de la tierra y el cielo, que se puede vislumbrar desde cualquier posición.
