<HTML>I just learned last night that a friend of mine has been diagnosed with a very rare type of throat cancer. A type which may not be treatable. My friend, Wes, has not been a member of the network (that I've ever known of), but he has been a creative man. Writing for and editor/publisher of several multi-lingual weekly newspapers in the Four Corners and northern New Mexico areas for many years. He's been a hard worker and very loving man to his family and all he's come in contact with.

As such, I'd like to make a request of the mail art community to send Wes some "Get Well Art" just to let him know that we care about him and wish he and his family the best through what are about to be some very trying times.
